Do you install the products you sell?
Yes. We have six NFI (National Fireplace Institute) Certified Technicians and we install all of the products that we sell.
Do you assist with maintenance?
Yes. We have service technicians designated to assist with the upkeep of your stove or fireplace.
Can we convert our wood fireplace to gas?
Yes. A conversion can be made to allow for gas logs or, a gas insert can be installed.
Can we convert our wood stove to gas?
No. Currently there are no conversion kits on the market.
Do I need a chimney?
Wood stoves and wood fireplaces will require a vertical natural vent chimney. Pellet stoves allow horizontal venting through a wall, or up an existing chimney. Direct vent gas fireplaces and stoves can be vented through a side wall. Natural vent gas fireplaces and stoves will require a vertical chimney.
If I don't have gas now can I get a propane stove?
Yes, however you must have a propane tank installed. We would be happy to advise you on suppliers.
Can I burn logs in a pellet stove?
No. Ceramic log inserts are available to give the appearance of burning logs.
What is a zero clearance fireplace?
A fireplace that is manufactured, tested, and certified for installation into new construction. No sub-structure is needed and the fireplace can be set on wood surfaces. Some clearance to combustible material is still required, as little as a half inch in most cases.
